| After reading the first two pages of posts, I figured I would put my 2 cents (I guess schillings is it for you English?) in here. Relatively new to the GW scene (about 2 weeks) and I'm already getting bored. However, my brother has a WoW account, and I played religiously for 3 months. He was seriously pissed because I was on the computer all the time. I have been avoiding buying WoW since I got this PC, but there are certain features WoW has that GW is lacking. For instance, multiple toolbars for more than just skills. The main toolbar itself has 3 setups for more skill placement. I can see other players out in the world map w/o being in a party. An auction house to browse over items to buy and sell, allowing competitive bids for your wares. Multiple professions to obtain besides just your hero class (first aid and cooking are free, plus 2 more that you can pair together, such as herbalism to gather herbs and flowers and alchemy to create useful potions from said herbs and flowers. Plus and potions you don't use can be summarily sold at the auction house.) Higher level cap, allowing your HP and MP to go through the freakin' roof. However, unless you have played WarCraft III or before, you don't know what the hell is going on with the story. But yeah, after writing this I think I'm gonna go buy it tomorrow. I just convinced myself to. And those servers you mentioned, are they PvP or PvE? |

| hmm seems like we got another WoW fan here xP my brother also plays WoW i got bored of WoW after 15mins and after 2khours or more of GW i got tired of it dunno what 2 do now its all the same.. but well gotta catch a friend in GW so gotta run ciao xP btw WoW also suck cause theres no fast travel you spend more time traveling than acturely playing it.. _________________ |

Lol, shillings haven't been used in the UK since 1971 ^ ^ Guild Wars really starts to get quite interesting when you get to Level 20. The thing about Guild Wars is it uses skills as the best attack and defense while in other games it's armour and weapons. It gets addictive when you get further in (Yes, I do know from experience  (7 hours in a row(I had nothing better to do(Wow theses are lots of brackets))))
I do prefer Guild Wars to WoW. I think the graphics are better and the fact that you don't have to pay monthly is good too. |

I rather pick WoW now because... , well because i forgot half of what i should know about GW 
Anyway , i reached lvl cap already but after tomorrow , im going to take a long long break from it. (multiple reasons , for instance : lack of money , want to show my friends im not addicted,....) |
